The school is located in the State Low Cost area of Jos. It is 10km from the centre of the city, in a fast growing area and very close to the Wild Life Park.
We are very well integrated in the local community but we are much more than a community based school; our name and reputation has brought students from all over the Plateau and Nigeria as a whole.

BRIEF HISTORY
Rantya Model School was founded in 1988 by Mrs. Okewole with only one class (Grade I). Due to the quality of teaching, the school has grown and will continue to grow impressively. In 1995, the secondary was opened and in 2002, it graduated its first set of students.
In 2004, the school was taken over by Mr. & Mrs. de DOUHET and now offers Day and Boarding facilities. It is a well accredited centre to pass both National School Certificates: NECO and WAEC.
